Job Summary

As the Power Plant Team Lead at Essity's Kostheim site, you will be responsible for the safe, legally compliant, and efficient operation of the facility's power plant and steam generation systems. Your daily activities will involve leading and scheduling an experienced team operating in a continuous shift system, monitoring energy supply networks, and overseeing electrical switchgear. You will serve as the primary point of contact for authorities, auditors, and technical experts while managing budgets and investment planning for electrical infrastructure. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical training with further qualification as a Power Plant Master (Kraftwerksmeister), Industrial Master (Industriemeister), or Technician; or a university degree in Energy, Utility, Process, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the operation of energy or steam generation plants, ideally in an industrial environment
  • Initial leadership experience or a strong desire to develop leadership competencies
  • Experience with control systems, process data, and technical documentation
  • Basic knowledge of immission control, operational safety, and legal regulations for energy plants
