Job Summary
As a Laboratory Technician for the Waste Management Company of the Märkische Kreis (AMK), you will play a critical role in the operational safety and environmental compliance of a high-tech waste-to-energy plant. Your daily responsibilities include conducting quality assessments of condensates, monitoring water quality, and performing chemical analyses on salt brines and steam condensates. You will be responsible for the maintenance and calibration of pH measurement systems and laboratory analytical equipment. Beyond technical testing, you will prepare analysis reports, manage chemical supplies, and provide expert guidance to shift teams regarding analytical procedures and deviation protocols. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking for a stable, permanent role within a vital public utility infrastructure. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Laboratory Assistant (Laborant) or Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA).
Experience
- Completed vocational training as a Laboratory Assistant or Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA)
- Several years of professional experience in chemical laboratory analysis
- Preferred experience in power plant-specific analytical procedures
- Demonstrated technical understanding and knowledge of legal laboratory regulations
