Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer for Primary Technology, you will be responsible for the independent analysis and planning of primary technical equipment within switchgear installations. Your daily activities will involve creating primary technical concepts for new constructions and upgrades of both air-insulated (AIS) and gas-insulated (GIS) switchgear, as well as reactive power compensation systems. You will manage complex interfaces for 420kV hybrid projects, coordinating high-voltage components and overseeing project documentation including layout plans and regulatory permit planning. This role is particularly attractive as it offers a permanent position within a diverse project environment, ranging from medium-sized companies to DAX-listed corporations. You will act as a key technical coordinator, ensuring the seamless integration of steel and civil engineering components while managing the technical acceptance of high-voltage cables and compensation systems. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Engineering or Automation Technology.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the analysis and planning of primary technical equipment in switchgear.
  • Experience in creating technical concepts for air-insulated and gas-insulated switchgear.
  • Experience in interface management for high-voltage hybrid projects (420kV).
  • Proven expertise in coordinating and accepting high-voltage components (AIS, GIS, cables).
  • Experience in project documentation and regulatory approval processes.
