Job Summary
This role involves leading and developing a department of nine employees across two teams within the Housing Office of the City of Frankfurt. As the Team Lead for HR and Administration, you will act as a central point of contact for approximately 200 colleagues, managing complex human resources tasks such as recruitment for high-level positions, disciplinary measures, and legal representation in labor courts. Beyond HR, you will oversee organizational development, including the implementation of modern workspace concepts like desk-sharing and the management of facility maintenance and renovation projects. The position is ideal for a structured leader who enjoys a mix of strategic planning and operational management. Required Skills
Education
Degree for the higher general administrative service, or a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or Personnel Development; alternatively, a qualification as a Certified Administrative Manager (Verwaltungsfachwirt) with extensive relevant experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in leadership and staff management
- Extensive professional experience in human resources or public administration
- Experience in handling complex personnel legal matters and labor court representation
- Experience in organizational planning and job description evaluation
- Experience in procurement processes and service contracting
