Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a greenfield IoT project, developing a brand-new software platform for safety-critical connected devices from scratch. Operating without the burden of legacy code, the successful candidate will focus on the backend implementation of monitoring and control platforms using Rust and the Tokio framework. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing REST APIs, developing automated unit and integration tests, and building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab. You will collaborate closely with hardware and embedded teams to ensure seamless system integration and participate in high-level architectural decisions and code reviews. This position is ideal for developers who enjoy a high degree of creative freedom and technical ownership within a focused team. The role is based near Frankfurt am Main and offers a modern tech stack, a 38.5-hour work week, and a hybrid working model with approximately 50% remote flexibility.
