Job Summary

This role involves the adaptation and optimization of 12V and 48V on-board power systems within modern software-based vehicle architectures. Based in Affalterbach, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for quiescent current limits, performing detailed measurements, analyzing results, and coordinating corrective measures to ensure compliance. The position requires a hands-on approach to power system validation, including testing in climate chambers and participating in domestic and international test drives to guarantee reliable electrical supply to all low-voltage components. You will act as a key coordinator between various vehicle development departments, managing costs and deadlines while overseeing component and system-level testing. This is an attractive opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a mix of analytical office-based coordination and practical vehicle testing in a high-performance automotive environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in on-board power system development (Bordnetzentwicklung)
  • Extensive experience in automotive electrical and electronic systems (E/E)
  • Proven track record in conducting and analyzing electrical measurements
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional measures within vehicle development
  • Experience in executing component and system-level tests
