Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of space exploration by maintaining and operating complex thermal-vacuum test facilities used for satellite testing. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of sophisticated electrotechnical systems, utilizing circuit diagrams and PLC programs to troubleshoot issues. You will play a hands-on role in preparing and executing space system component tests, which includes equipping thermal plates with specialized heater technology. The position is highly dynamic, involving participation in facility development projects and the updating of technical documentation. What makes this role particularly attractive is the chance to work in a high-stakes aerospace environment, ensuring that equipment can withstand realistic space conditions. Candidates must be willing to work in a 3-shift system to support continuous test operations and collaborate closely with customers to realize custom test setups.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in the field of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the operation, maintenance, or modernization of complex electrotechnical systems
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting and error correction using circuit diagrams
  • Experience with safety-relevant inspections and standards such as DGUV is desirable
  • Experience working with PLC systems at a basic level
