Job Summary
As an IT Security Officer based in Jena, you will play a pivotal role in securing information within a digitalized healthcare environment. Working for Convales Services GmbH, a partner of the Medipolis Group, you will be responsible for building and advancing the Security Operation Center (SOC) and supporting the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in managing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on BSI IT-Grundschutz and ISO 27001 standards. Your daily tasks include developing security policies, coordinating incident responses, conducting internal audits, and providing expert advice to IT departments and project leads. This full-time, permanent position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the safety of sensitive healthcare data, directly impacting the quality of care for seriously ill patients. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, IT Forensics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration/Application Development or IT Systems Electronician with relevant experience.
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in operative IT operations
- Professional experience in IT or information security
- Experience with relevant norms and standards such as BSI and ISO 27001
- Initial experience in strategic IT or digitalization projects is desirable
- Experience in coordinating and moderating security-relevant topics at both operational and strategic levels
