Job Summary

As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in the recycling process of precious metals. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing independent chemical digestion of materials containing precious metals and preparing samples for ICP-OES measurements. You will be responsible for preparing buffer solutions, monitoring testing equipment as part of quality assurance protocols, and managing general laboratory tasks including the acceptance of consumables. A key aspect of this role is maintaining high standards of laboratory organization by ensuring compliance with LEAN and 5S principles. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in analytical industrial environments who are comfortable working with concentrated acids and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
