Job Summary

This role involves working for a high-technology leader in machine tools and laser technology at their Jena location. As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive testing of fiber laser technologies, including the planning, execution, and data analysis phases. A significant portion of the role involves modeling and simulating optical system properties using tools like Matlab or Python. You will manage technical projects from the initial concept development through to product launch, serving as a key technical liaison between production, service, and customers. This position is unique for its high level of cross-functional collaboration and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge EUV (Extreme Ultraviolet) laser systems.
