Job Summary
As a Materials Tester based in Essen, you will be responsible for the independent execution of non-destructive material testing (NDT). Your daily routine involves performing various testing procedures while strictly adhering to all relevant standards and occupational safety regulations. You will act as a technical point of contact for customer representatives and inspectors, ensuring quality and compliance. This role requires a high degree of responsibility and the ability to work within a shift system. The position is particularly attractive due to its permanent contract status, competitive hourly wages ranging from €18 to €22 plus bonuses, and the potential for permanent placement with the client company. Additionally, the role offers modern digital administration via an app and comprehensive benefits including holiday and Christmas bonuses and up to 30 days of vacation.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester (Werkstoffprüfer) and possession of relevant, valid certifications.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of materials testing
- Practical experience in conducting non-destructive material testing procedures
- Experience in interacting with customer representatives and inspectors
- Experience using LIMS and standard office software (Word, Excel, Access)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work in shifts is required. Valid certificates for material testing are mandatory. The role is a full-time, permanent position located in Essen.
