As a PLC Programmer and Commissioning Engineer at Prinzing Pfeiffer, you will play a critical role in the development and deployment of complex automation solutions for special-purpose machinery used in the concrete industry. Your daily responsibilities include programming PLC software, safety controllers, and frequency converters, as well as designing intuitive HMI interfaces. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive technical documentation and conducting rigorous system tests before delivery to ensure seamless functionality. A key aspect of this role is the close collaboration with electrical and mechanical design teams, serving as a central technical contact during the global commissioning phase. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a completed qualification as a certified Technician, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming using Siemens Simatic S7 and TIA Portal is required
- Experience in the commissioning of special-purpose machinery is desirable
- Professional experience in creating technical assembly and software documentation
- Experience in HMI visualization and interface design
