Job Summary

As an FPGA Firmware Developer based in the Munich area, you will join a high-tech partner in the defense industry to drive technology to the next level. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing firmware requirements and architectures, implementing designs in VHDL, and performing FPGA programming according to established coding standards. You will be responsible for creating verification testbenches, conducting low-level hardware tests, and ensuring high quality through rigorous code reviews and traceability. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in FPGA development using VHDL
  • Professional experience with Xilinx tools such as Vivado and ISE
  • Experience in creating verification testbenches and performing hardware tests
  • Experience with UltraScale+ MPSoC is desirable
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary development teams
  • Experience with version control systems like SVN or Git
