Job Summary
This role offers a pivotal opportunity to join a leader in the green hydrogen industry, focusing on the development and optimization of PEM electrolyzers. As a Process and Systems Engineer based in Linden, Germany, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of process engineering, from creating complex process models and heat/material balances using Hysys or Unisim to developing P&IDs and technical specifications. You will collaborate across disciplines to integrate mechanical and electrical components, support project teams during the proposal phase, and ensure compliance with safety standards through HAZOP and LOPA studies. The position is highly dynamic, involving commissioning support, performance testing, and direct interaction with international stakeholders. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the oil, gas, or chemical industries
- Proven experience in an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environment is preferred
- Extensive experience in process simulation and optimization
- Practical experience with safety standards and pressure systems
- Experience in interdisciplinary team collaboration
