Job Summary
This role involves managing and optimizing the IT infrastructure for a medium-sized craft business based in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen. As the primary IT professional in a small team, you will be responsible for the maintenance of physical and virtual workstations and servers, specifically focusing on Windows 7/10 clients and Windows Server 2008 environments. Key daily tasks include Active Directory management, software and license oversight, storage management, and ensuring network security. Additionally, you will maintain and develop the company's websites using various Content Management Systems and provide strategic input for future IT infrastructure investments. This position is unique for offering a high degree of independence in a stable, medium-sized business environment with the option for either full-time or part-time employment on a permanent basis.
Required Skills
Education
Degree as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or equivalent professional experience; relevant Microsoft certifications are preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience as an IT Specialist for System Integration or long-term experience in a comparable field
- Extensive experience in Windows Server environments, MS Clients, and Active Directory
- Practical experience with virtualization technologies, specifically Hyper-V
- Experience in network technology including VLAN, IP Routing, and VPN
- Experience in web programming and web server administration
- Proven experience in managing Content Management Systems
