Job Summary

As an Electronics Technician for Radio and Special Technology with the Berlin Police, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of the German capital by maintaining its critical communication infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the inspection, maintenance, and repair of digital radio equipment, control units, and specialized technology including audio recording, image transmission, and camera systems. Working within a professional service workshop, you will perform fault analysis and troubleshooting in a sensitive security environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training (at least 3 years) in Electronics for Information and Telecommunications, Information Electronics, Electronics for Devices and Systems, IT System Electronics, or Mechatronics/Automation Technology.

Experience

  • Completion of at least a three-year vocational training program in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Professional experience in information and communication technology, system electronics, or mechatronics
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of electronic devices and systems
  • Experience working in sensitive technical environments is preferred

Additional

  • Applicants whose native language is not German must provide a recognized C1 language certificate. The entire selection process is conducted in German. Must be able to work at the Friesenstraße location in Berlin.
