Job Summary

As a Shift Supervisor for a power plant in Frankfurt am Main, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of energy technology facilities. Your daily activities include monitoring control room alarms, maintaining shift logs, and troubleshooting technical malfunctions. You will play a critical role in coordinating complex routine operations and providing hands-on training and guidance to field and control room staff. Beyond technical oversight, you are responsible for enforcing environmental, fire, and occupational safety regulations, and acting as the Permit-to-Work (PTW) representative when necessary. This position is ideal for a structured decision-maker who thrives in high-pressure environments. Required Skills

Education

Technical degree (University/Fachhochschule) or a comparable technical qualification/certification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in shift leadership, specifically within power plant or industrial plant operations
  • Experience in monitoring control room systems and managing commissioning protocols
  • Proven track record in troubleshooting and documenting technical faults
  • Experience in coordinating routine operational procedures and leading technical teams
