Job Summary

This role involves joining the internal engineering and architectural office of BIM Berliner Immobilienmanagement GmbH, a state-owned real estate service provider managing over 5,000 properties in Berlin. You will be responsible for the planning, control, and quality assurance of modernization and renovation projects for a diverse portfolio, including historic landmarks and public service buildings. Day-to-day tasks include short- and medium-term maintenance planning for electrical systems, managing HOAI service phases 1–3 and 5–8, and creating technical concepts using CAD systems. You will coordinate with internal project teams, public authorities, and external contractors. This position is particularly attractive due to its high-profile portfolio, 50% mobile work policy, and a competitive salary range of €60,240 to €72,280. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study; alternatively, a specialized electrical vocational training with further qualification as a certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering projects, specifically in renovation or modernization
  • Practical experience collaborating with planning offices, construction companies, or public sector clients
  • Proven experience in construction management or site supervision, preferably for complex commercial or special-purpose properties
  • Experience in controlling external planning offices and managing executing trades
