Job Summary

This role involves the programming, further development, and optimization of PLC control systems specifically for custom-built, special-purpose machinery. As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing HMI and SCADA systems, ensuring seamless interaction between hardware and software. A significant part of the position includes the commissioning of machines and systems both at the local plant and at customer sites domestically and internationally. You will work in a modern, international environment, collaborating closely with electrical design, mechanics, and project management teams to deliver technologically sophisticated projects. The role offers a high degree of creative freedom and flexibility, including flexible working hour models and comprehensive professional development opportunities. Beyond technical execution, you will be responsible for technical documentation and conducting user training, making this a well-rounded position for an automation expert looking for variety and technical challenge.

Required Skills

Education

Completed further training as a Technician or a University Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in PLC programming, preferably within the special-purpose machinery sector
  • Proven experience in the commissioning of industrial machines and systems
  • Experience in creating and implementing HMI and SCADA interfaces
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with electrical and mechanical engineering departments
