Job Summary
As a Product Developer at Europe's leading manufacturer of super-premium pet food, you will play a central role in bringing innovative and sustainable products to the global market. Based in East Friesland, your daily responsibilities will involve actively participating in the production and development of new pet food recipes, managing the sampling of novel products, and conducting detailed analysis of raw materials and finished goods. You will also be responsible for calculating costs for new items, creating technical specifications, and providing expert consultation to clients regarding recipe formulations. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of scientific analysis and creative product creation. Required Skills
Education
Degree in natural sciences (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Biology) or a completed vocational training as a Food Technology Specialist (Fachkraft für Lebensmitteltechnik).
Experience
- Professional experience or interest in the development and production of innovative food products
- Experience in performing and evaluating raw material and finished goods analyses
- Practical experience in creating product specifications and cost calculations
- Experience in providing technical consultation to customers regarding product recipes
