This role involves providing essential 1st Level IT support to staff and students at Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena, ensuring smooth operation of IT services. Key responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle of end-user devices, assisting with standard IT issues within university administration, and maintaining the central Active Directory. The specialist will also perform basic administration tasks on cloud systems like Microsoft 365 and support media technology in lecture halls. Collaboration with external support and contributing to IT documentation are also crucial.
