Job Summary
As a Data Engineer at BTB Berlin, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into a strategic asset to drive the energy transition. Your daily responsibilities include designing and developing scalable data architectures, such as Data Lakes and Data Warehouses, while building and optimizing robust ETL pipelines to integrate internal and external data sources. You will ensure high data quality through validation and standardization and manage the operation of BI and analysis platforms. This role is highly collaborative, involving technical consulting for internal departments and the development of future-oriented solution concepts. The position is attractive due to its high degree of creative freedom within the E.ON Group, offering a 13-month salary, flexible mobile working options, and a dog-friendly office environment in Berlin. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in a relevant field of study or a comparable professional qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in data engineering and data architecture
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric and data transformation processes
- Proven track record in developing and operating ETL pipelines
- Experience in the configuration and operation of analysis and BI platforms
- Professional experience in structured documentation and technical consulting
