Job Summary

As a Stage Machinery Technician at Europe's largest three-genre theater, you will be responsible for the operation and programming of advanced stage machinery during rehearsals and live performances. Working within a dedicated team of 10, your daily tasks involve supporting the technical infrastructure of the opera and playhouse, including the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of stage systems. You will collaborate closely with artistic production teams and external specialist companies to implement special decorative components and stage effects. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a unique artistic environment and are comfortable with the flexible scheduling required in the theater industry. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Engineer, Industrial Mechanic, Construction Mechanic, Locksmith, Metalworker, or Specialist for Event Technology.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a technical field, preferably with a high degree of independence
  • Experience in stage operations or theater technology is highly advantageous
  • Professional background in electrical engineering, metalworking, or mechatronics
  • Experience in welding technology is preferred

Additional
