Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, development, and documentation of electrotechnical systems and control units. Your daily activities involve creating detailed circuit diagrams, control cabinet layouts, and bills of materials using EPLAN P8. You will play a critical role in selecting electrical components while ensuring strict adherence to industry standards such as DIN and VDE. Beyond design, you will support the configuration and optimization of switchgear and collaborate closely with manufacturing and assembly teams to resolve technical queries. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, or a degree/technician certification in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in electrical design, ideally within the mechanical or plant engineering sector
  • Proven proficiency in using EPLAN software
  • Experience in the selection and dimensioning of electrical components
  • Practical experience in collaborating with production and assembly departments
