Job Summary

This role involves serving as an EMC Test Engineer for a renowned aerospace company in Backnang. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and independent execution of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests on space equipment according to MIL-STD 461 and ECSS standards. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing test results, identifying EMC issues, and developing improvement solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will set up measurement environments, track the latest measurement technology, and continuously develop test facilities and concepts. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in project management, research, development, testing, simulation, or system engineering
  • Professional experience in the aerospace or automotive industry preferred
  • Experience in the aerospace industry or with the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) is an advantage
  • Proven experience in the analysis of test results and development of EMC solutions
