Job Summary
As a Software Engineer in Industrial Automation, you will play a critical role in the commissioning and optimization of specialized machinery for the aerospace industry. Based in Rastede, your day-to-day responsibilities involve setting up Siemens PLC and NC control systems, performing functional validation, and conducting rigorous acceptance tests. You will work closely with team leads to develop software concepts and ensure the safety-technical approval of complex production lines. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a state-certified technician qualification (Technikerausbildung) or equivalent.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in machine tool and specialized mechanical engineering
- Proven experience in commissioning and optimizing specialized machinery
- Practical experience with software design tools including Step 7, TIA, and WinCC
- Professional experience in IT applications including MS Office and SAP ERP
