Job Summary
This role involves supporting a specialized laboratory in Hemmingen/Hannover focused on fruit juice and food authenticity analytics. As a Food Chemist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include evaluating analytical data, generating reports in compliance with current laws and industry standards, and performing declaration checks for non-alcoholic beverages, herbs, and spices. You will serve as a key point of contact for national and international clients, managing correspondence via email and telephone, and preparing quotes and invoices using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The position is ideal for someone who enjoys independent, solution-oriented work and direct customer interaction. Required Skills
Education
Completed studies in Food Chemistry and qualification as a State-Certified Food Chemist (2nd State Examination/Staatsexamen).
Experience
- Professional experience in food chemistry or analytics is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in evaluating analytical data and creating technical reports
- Professional experience in customer correspondence and service
- Experience in declaration testing for beverages or spices is beneficial
