As the Quality Control (QC) Team Lead in Freiburg, you will be responsible for overseeing the QC department and ensuring all activities comply with DIN EN ISO 13485 standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing the QC team, acting as a Subject Matter Expert during audits, and investigating results that fall outside of specifications or trends. You will collaborate closely with the Global QC Manager on departmental budgets and ensure all laboratory equipment is qualified, calibrated, and maintained according to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers regarding QC inquiries and involves identifying and managing quality improvement projects. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Natural Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, or similar)
Experience
- Professional experience in a regulated environment (e.g., ISO 13485)
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team
- Practical experience in applying standard Quality Control methods
- Experience in managing quality metrics and departmental budgets
