Job Summary
This role involves the commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire protection systems for rail vehicles and buildings on both a national and international scale. As a Service Technician or Test Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing certification-relevant tests, performing system adjustments on controllers, and providing technical training to customers and partners. You will act as a primary technical contact for a global client base, collaborating closely with development and quality assurance departments to improve system functionality. The position is ideal for hands-on professionals who enjoy technical problem-solving and are comfortable with high levels of travel. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in field service for electronic components preferred
- Experience in planning and conducting technical tests on rail vehicles or buildings
- Professional experience in customer support and technical consulting
