Job Summary
As an IT Service Owner specializing in Point of Sale (POS) delivery, you will take professional responsibility for POS services at the Essen or Muttenz locations. Your daily responsibilities involve managing the strategic development and roadmap of POS systems while ensuring operational stability through ITIL-based processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change management. You will act as a central escalation point for critical disruptions and coordinate with internal IT teams, security, and external providers to maintain high service quality and SLAs. A key part of the role involves analyzing monitoring data to derive improvements and maintaining service management tools like ServiceNow. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to shape future-proof POS solutions. The role offers a flexible working model with up to two days of mobile work, 30 days of vacation with options to purchase more, and a respectful corporate culture with flat hierarchies.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in the IT field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in IT Service Management with a specific focus on POS services
- Proven experience in managing ITIL processes and utilizing service management tools such as ServiceNow
- Experience in steering external providers for POS systems, payment terminals, and branch networks
- Experience in analyzing monitoring and reporting data to implement service improvements
- Experience in coordinating measures for critical disruptions as a central escalation point
