Job Summary

As an IT Security Manager at HomeServe, you will play a pivotal role in protecting the company's systems, data, and processes across its German operations. Your daily responsibilities include developing and implementing IT security strategies in alignment with international group standards, monitoring cloud and network architectures, and managing security risks. You will act as a key bridge between the UK-based group headquarters and local German branches, ensuring compliance with frameworks like ISO 27001 and GDPR. Beyond technical oversight, you will lead incident management, coordinate with external service providers (SOC/MDR), and drive security awareness training for employees. This position is ideal for a proactive professional looking to combine strategic planning with hands-on operational security. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of practical experience in IT security or information security
  • Experience with security certifications and common frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or BSI-Grundschutz
  • Proven experience in managing network security, endpoint protection, and SIEM systems
  • Professional experience in steering external security service providers and managing KPIs/SLAs
  • Experience in implementing corporate security policies within a transition or group environment
