Job Summary
As a Biologist and Zoo Educator at Serengeti-Park, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between wildlife conservation and public education. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for diverse audiences ranging from school children to adults. You will be responsible for the conceptual development of interactive learning stations, creating informative animal signage, and coordinating the schedules of teachers and guides. Beyond education, you will support the Serengeti-Park Foundation, manage animal sponsorships, and assist curators with operational tasks. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys a mix of strategic planning and hands-on event management, such as organizing World Animal Days. The position offers a unique chance to work within a 220-hectare park housing 2,000 animals, providing a dynamic environment where your ideas can directly shape the visitor experience. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Biology, Zoology, or a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in biology and zoo education tasks
- Experience in planning and evaluating educational offerings for schools and adults

- Experience in cross-departmental project collaboration

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as needed. Must be able to work on-site in Hodenhagen.
