Job Summary
This role involves working at the Ansbach location for a leading environmental laboratory services provider. As a Microbiology Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process of microbiological analysis, including sample preparation, culture media production, and the execution of tests according to ISO 17025 standards. Your daily tasks will include the evaluation and documentation of results, as well as essential maintenance activities such as cleaning and sterilization of equipment. The position is unique for its 35-hour work week and its focus on environmental health, specifically drinking water and food analysis. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Biological, Medical, Chemical, or Agricultural Laboratory Assistant (BTA, MTA, CTA, LTA) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in microbiological analysis of drinking water or food is preferred
- Experience working within an accredited laboratory environment (ISO 17025)
- Proven ability to work independently with a structured and meticulous approach
- Experience in performing quality assurance measures in a lab setting
