Job Summary
This role serves as a critical bridge between cutting-edge research and institutional services at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Working within the ORIGINS Excellence Cluster and the TUM Research Data Hub, the successful candidate will manage data management strategies to ensure the availability and reuse of research data. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing discipline-specific concepts, supporting reproducible pipelines using workflow languages and automation tools, and evaluating global research data infrastructure. You will also provide consulting and training services to scientific project members. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in natural or technical sciences who is passionate about Open Science. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree, preferably in a technical, natural science, or economics field; a PhD is preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience with research data and Open Science principles
- Experience in large international collaboration projects is highly desirable
- Experience in the development and use of reproducible pipelines and automation tools
- Proven track record in independent, result-oriented project work
- Experience in organizing and planning workshops is an advantage

- The position is initially limited to a duration of two years. Candidates must be willing to work at both the Munich and Garching locations. Includes eligibility for TV-L E13 public sector pay scale.
