Job Summary
As an IT Support Specialist for the Municipality of Möhnesee, you will serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues, providing first and second-level support to municipal employees. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the entire IT infrastructure, ranging from desktop PCs and mobile devices to servers and network systems. You will manage Microsoft environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Citrix systems, while ensuring the functionality of telecommunications and presentation technology. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys independent problem-solving and technical documentation. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, a University degree (FH) in Computer Science, or a comparable professional qualification with an IT focus.
Experience
- Professional experience in system administration and operating networks under Microsoft Windows
- Experience with Citrix environments
- Experience in hardware support and client-server technology
- Project management experience is desirable
- Experience in providing user support and error analysis
