Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer at Brunel, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of switchgear and control systems using EPLAN P8. Your daily activities will include creating comprehensive circuit diagrams, terminal plans, and bills of materials, as well as selecting and sizing electrotechnical components for industrial machinery. You will act as a technical bridge, coordinating with external suppliers and internal departments while supporting commissioning phases and technical clarifications. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering (e.g., Electrical Engineer, State-certified Technician, or Master Craftsman/Meister).

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical design and construction
  • Experience in switchgear or control cabinet construction is preferred
  • Proficient in using EPLAN P8 or similar electrical CAD tools
  • Sound knowledge of relevant electrical engineering standards and industrial automation
  • Experience in technical coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders
