Job Summary

As an Operational Manager for ITSM at a long-standing insurance company, you will be responsible for ensuring a stable IT service environment. Your daily activities will involve the operational coordination of core ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request management. You will serve as the central point of contact for external IT service providers, monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maintain high service quality. The role requires conducting service reviews, managing escalations, and implementing continuous improvement measures based on vulnerability analyses. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Relevant professional experience in IT Service Management or IT Operations Management
  • Practical experience in steering and managing external IT service providers
  • Proven track record in managing SLAs, KPIs, and service performance
  • Experience in escalation management and resolving critical service issues
  • Experience with ITIL-based processes and reporting for management levels

Languages

German (Basic)English (Fluent)

Additional

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the insurance industry (DORA, VAIT, GDPR) is preferred. The role is based in a full-time capacity with flexible working arrangements.
