Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a high-performance cross-functional development team at Knorr-Bremse, working on a strategically vital and innovative mechatronic system. As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will be deeply involved in the entire development lifecycle, from initial conception and simulation to the construction and testing of prototypes. A significant portion of your daily work will involve supporting the team with electrochemical energy storage measurements (specifically lithium-ion batteries), evaluating measurement data using MATLAB, and optimizing virtual energy storage models in MATLAB Simulink. This position is ideal for those interested in the future of mobility and agile product development environments (SCRUM/KANBAN). The role is based in Mödling, offering a highly collaborative international environment where you can apply theoretical knowledge to real-world laboratory and vehicle testing scenarios.

Required Skills

Education

Ongoing technical studies (University or University of Applied Sciences) in Electrochemistry, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.

Experience

  • Professional experience or academic background in energy storage systems and electrical engineering
  • Experience in measurement data analysis using MATLAB
  • Experience working within agile development frameworks such as SCRUM or KANBAN
  • Practical experience in building and testing mechatronic prototypes
