As a PLC Technician, you will be responsible for the development of control programs based on the IEC 61131-3 standard and solving complex automation technology challenges. Your day-to-day activities will involve the installation, commissioning, and optimization of software for prototypes, series production machines, and existing systems. Beyond technical execution, you will play a key role in project coordination and process management. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a mix of office-based programming and hands-on field work, including travel primarily within German-speaking regions. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical education (Technical School, HTL/Higher Technical College, or Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering); alternatively, a University of Applied Sciences degree.

Experience

  • Professional experience in PLC programming and automation technology is desirable
  • Practical experience in mechanical engineering or related industrial sectors
  • Experience in commissioning and optimizing software for industrial machinery
  • Experience with robot interface adjustment and drive system configuration
