This role involves leading the ePayment competence center, where you will be responsible for developing and optimizing standard online payment processes for the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. You will actively contribute to the evolution of the "xBezahldienste" standard and represent Bremen at a strategic level within the ePayment Bund/Länder developer community. A key part of the job includes collaborating with service providers on the payment platform's development, managing contracts for ePayBL client usage, and overseeing budget planning for these areas. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital financial processes within the public sector, requiring a strong IT background and project management skills, particularly in payment systems.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field with an IT focus, or eligibility for career group 2, second entry-level (German civil service qualification)

Experience

  • Proven experience in IT project management
  • Experience in coordinating with committees and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of card-based and electronic payment transactions
  • Technical understanding of payment processes, system landscapes, interface, and process management
