Job Summary

This role within the City of Krefeld's Audit Department focuses on ensuring the legality, regularity, and economic efficiency of administrative processes. As an Administrative Officer, you will manage day-to-day tasks related to corruption prevention, including maintaining the 'risk atlas' for all city departments and documenting anti-corruption measures. Your responsibilities extend to handling the department's accounting office, documenting document audits, digitizing audit materials, and providing secretarial coverage. This part-time position (19.5 hours/week) offers a secure public service environment with a focus on integrity and transparency. Required Skills

Education

Qualification for the civil service (Career Group 1, Second Entry Level) in North Rhine-Westphalia, or completed vocational training as a Public Administration Specialist. Alternatively, a 3-year vocational degree as a Legal Assistant, Notary Assistant, Office Management Assistant, Industrial Clerk, or Bank Clerk with willingness to complete a basic administrative qualification course.

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration or commercial administrative roles
  • Experience in document auditing or accounting processes is desirable
  • Proven reliability and ability to work independently in a sensitive audit environment
  • Experience in secretarial or office management functions
