Job Summary

As an HVDC and Network Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical, timely, and economical commissioning of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems at global project sites. Your daily activities will focus on the commissioning and maintenance of TCP/IP-based network infrastructures, HMI concepts, and signal synchronization components. You will act as a vital interface for signal suppliers, assisting customers and external partners with troubleshooting communication interfaces. Beyond technical execution, you will support commissioning management in quality, risk, and claim management while participating in continuous improvement programs such as Lean and Lessons Learned. This role is ideal for professionals seeking international exposure, as it involves worldwide site deployments and optional offshore platform assignments. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the commissioning of HVDC systems and network communication components
  • Practical experience in network administration including switches, routers, and TCP/IP protocols
  • Experience with HMI concepts and PC administration within an industrial or electrical environment
  • Experience in troubleshooting communication interfaces and working with electrical circuit diagrams
  • Experience working on international construction sites or offshore platforms is preferred
