Job Summary
This role involves the on-site maintenance, repair, and commissioning of professional printing and multifunction devices (MFPs) for a leading document management company. Operating from your home base in either Southern or Northern Germany, you will perform technical diagnostics, resolve electronic and mechanical faults, and conduct user training for clients. The position is highly autonomous, requiring you to manage service reports, spare parts inventory, and collaborate with sales teams on technical upgrades. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training in a field such as Electronics, Mechatronics, IT System Electronics, or Information Electronics. Technical career changers from fields like Automotive Mechatronics or Industrial Electricity are also considered.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of printers, copiers, or multifunction printers (MFP) is preferred
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic and mechanical components
- Background in providing on-site technical customer support
- Experience in a technical trade such as electronics, mechatronics, or IT systems
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license is mandatory. Must be located in Southern or Northern Germany for regional field service. Role requires daily travel to customer sites starting from home.
