Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to actively shape the energy transition and structural change in East Germany by leading a team of 5-6 environmental planning specialists. Day-to-day, you will manage renewable energy projects, specifically focusing on wind and photovoltaic installations, while providing ecological support during their implementation. You will be responsible for creating technical plans and maps using AutoCAD and GIS, and communicating effectively with colleagues, clients, and regulatory authorities. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Environmental Planning, Landscape Architecture, Ecology, or a related engineering/scientific field is implied.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Project Manager for renewable energy projects, specifically wind and photovoltaics
  • Practical experience in ecological support and environmental planning implementation
  • Demonstrated expertise in species identification of large and small birds, bats, and herpetofauna
  • Experience in leading and managing small teams (5-6 people)
  • Experience in creating technical maps and plans using specialized software
