Job Summary
This role involves the comprehensive planning and project engineering of electrical, measurement, and control technology (EMSR) across various industrial sites in Germany. You will be responsible for designing hardware and software solutions for process control systems and steering technology. A significant portion of the role includes active participation in the commissioning of complex industrial plants, where you will perform functional tests, initial operations, system optimizations, and final acceptance procedures. You will also coordinate the implementation of technical solutions and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Automation Engineering or Electrical Engineering; alternatively, a certified Technician qualification specializing in Automation.
Experience
- Professional experience in Basic and Detail Engineering within E-/MSR technology is desirable
- Project experience in the chemical industry or power plant technology (can include internships or thesis work)
- Experience in hardware and software design for process control systems
- Practical experience in commissioning, functional testing, and system optimization
Languages
Additional
- Locations available in Cologne, Marl, Gelsenkirchen, Leverkusen, and Wuppertal. Willingness to learn specific CAE and process control systems if not already known.
