As the Head of Mainframe Hardware and Software Management, you will lead a critical division of approximately 50 highly qualified professionals organized into three departments. Your daily responsibilities involve overseeing one of the world's largest mainframe environments, ensuring the highest standards of data security, availability, and economic efficiency. You will be responsible for the strategic planning and maintenance of z/OS operating systems, hardware configurations, and data recovery procedures. This role is pivotal in driving the digital transformation for the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, requiring you to manage complex budgets, resources, and vendor relationships with top-tier hardware and software suppliers.
