Job Summary
This is a high-level leadership role responsible for the comprehensive management of a municipal waste management association. The Managing Director will oversee all technical, commercial, and legal operations, ensuring the association's future-oriented development. Day-to-day responsibilities include disciplinary leadership of staff, financial management (including budget preparation and annual accounting), and the negotiation and monitoring of disposal and service contracts. You will act as the primary contact for waste management policy and represent the association in political committees and public forums. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) in Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or a comparable field; alternatively, completion of the Administrative Specialist Course II (BL II) or qualification for the third qualification level of the 'Administration and Finance' career path.
Experience
- Professional leadership experience and a strong understanding of management principles
- Experience in managing technical, commercial, and legal matters within an organizational context
- Experience in financial planning, budget execution, and annual financial reporting
- Professional experience in public administration or waste management sectors is highly preferred
- Experience working with political committees, authorities, and external service providers
