Job Summary

As a Manufacturing Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between R&D and Operations within a global measurement technology leader. Your daily responsibilities involve coordinating product launches and technical changes across internal and external production sites worldwide. You will be responsible for managing materials and Bills of Materials (BOM) within SAP, collaborating closely with Technical Marketing to implement configurable products, and conducting cost analyses alongside the purchasing department. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring you to drive process improvements and manage formal approval workflows for change management. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Business Administration or Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in SAP processes within a technical environment
  • Experience in managing electromechanical products in production and administration
  • Proven track record in coordinating product launches and manufacturing transfers
  • Experience in creating and maintaining configurable products in SAP
  • Background in cross-functional collaboration between R&D, Purchasing, and Production

  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately once per quarter). Experience with SAP S/4HANA and agile working methods (SAFe/Scrum) is preferred but not mandatory.
