Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for the PLC programming of high-precision punching and bending machines using Codesys and TwinCAT. Your daily tasks involve systematic troubleshooting, developing control systems to expand machine functionality, and coordinating with development partners for the planning and construction of control cabinets. You will also provide third-level support internationally on an occasional basis and maintain technical documentation. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment within a global market leader. You will work closely with the PLC development team and other engineering departments to ensure high-quality standards in machine manufacturing. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering, or vocational training as an Electronics Technician/Electrician with relevant technical qualifications.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming and automation technology
- Practical experience in machine tool manufacturing is highly preferred
- Experience with Beckhoff hardware and software environments (TwinCAT)
- Experience with Siemens control systems is advantageous
- Experience in CNC control and drive technology is beneficial
- Experience in coordinating external development partners and material management
