Job Summary

As an Offshore Service Technician for the Baltic Eagle project, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and operation of offshore wind turbines. Working for a global leader in sustainable energy, your daily responsibilities include performing maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, conducting inspections, and carrying out repairs or component replacements. You will be responsible for supervising installation work while strictly adhering to health and safety protocols. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working at heights and in maritime environments. The role offers a unique 14/14 rotation model (14 days on, 14 days off), providing a predictable schedule and significant recovery periods. You will benefit from intensive training at the Vestas Academy, including qualification as a skilled electrician for work on high-voltage systems, and will be supported by a highly professional, international team using state-of-the-art wind energy technology.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable technical field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience working with medium or high voltage systems
  • Previous experience in the wind energy or offshore industry is preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience working at heights and in offshore environments

Languages

English (Fluent)

Additional

  • Must be willing to work in an offshore 14/14 rotation model. Physical fitness for working at heights and offshore is required. Position involves travel to offshore locations via Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV).
